Ham and Cheese Pizza Rolls (Printer-Friendly Version)

Enjoy cheesy, savory ham rolls wrapped in warm dough, glazed with dijon-butter. Great for gatherings or brunch.

# Required Ingredients:

→ Main

01 - 1 tube (about 400 g) pre-made pizza dough
02 - 8 slices Black Forest ham, thinly sliced
03 - 4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
04 - 4 slices Swiss cheese

→ Dijon-Butter Sauce

05 - 60 g unsalted butter, softened
06 - 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
07 - 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
08 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
09 - 1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper
10 - 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley

# Step-by-Step Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 220°C. In a bowl, blend softened butter with Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, white pepper, and parsley until smooth. Microwave for several seconds until easily spreadable but not fully melted.
02 - On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle. Evenly spread the butter sauce over the surface from edge to edge. Lay cheddar and Swiss cheese slices to fully cover the dough, trimming as necessary. Distribute ham slices in a slightly overlapping layer over the cheese.
03 - Starting at the long edge, roll the dough tightly into a log. Slice the roll into pieces approximately 5 cm thick.
04 - Arrange rolls cut side up in a buttered 23 x 33 cm baking dish. Bake for 10–15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
05 - Spread remaining butter sauce over the rolls immediately after baking. Serve warm.

# Handy Cooking Tips:

01 - Ensure the butter is softened to achieve an easily spreadable sauce. Leftover rolls can be reheated and served for brunch or as a quick snack.
