01 -
Warm the milk to approximately 40°C and combine it with sugar and active dry yeast. Allow it to rest for 5–10 minutes until the mixture becomes foamy.
02 -
Incorporate melted butter, eggs, and salt into the yeast mixture. Add the flour gradually while mixing to form a soft dough.
03 -
Knead the dough using a stand mixer with a dough hook for 5–6 minutes until elastic and smooth.
04 -
Cover the dough bowl and let it rise in a warm environment for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
05 -
On a floured surface, roll the dough into a large rectangle. Brush with melted butter and evenly sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Roll tightly from the long side.
06 -
Cut the rolled dough into 2.5 cm thick sections using a sharp knife or dental floss.
07 -
Place rolls on a parchment-lined baking sheet, cover, and let them rise for 30 minutes until puffy.
08 -
Preheat the oven to 175°C and bake the buns for 15–18 minutes until golden brown.
09 -
While warm, whisk honey, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth. Generously pour the glaze over the buns and allow it to set slightly before serving.
