07 - 1/2 tsp onion powder
08 - 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
09 - 1 minced jalapeno or serrano pepper
10 - 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
11 - 1 tsp salt
12 - 1/2 tsp black pepper

→ Tortillas & Toppings

13 - 8 small corn tortillas
14 - Sliced jalapenos or serranos (optional)
15 - Pickled chilies (optional)
16 - Spicy salsa or hot sauce (optional)
17 - Chopped cilantro
18 - Diced onion
19 - Lime wedges
20 - Avocado or guacamole
21 - Cotija, feta, or shredded jack cheese (optional)

# Steps to Prepare:

01 - Combine oil, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, jalapeno, lime juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl or large zip-top bag. Add steak and coat evenly. Refrigerate for 15 minutes to 1 hour.
02 - Heat grill or cast iron skillet over high heat. Remove steak from marinade, letting excess drip off. Cook 2-4 minutes per side for medium-rare or until desired doneness is reached.
03 - Transfer steak to a cutting board and let rest for at least 5 minutes to retain juices. Slice thinly against the grain for tenderness.
04 - Warm tortillas on the grill, dry skillet, or gas burner until soft and slightly charred. Keep wrapped in a towel or tortilla warmer until serving.
05 - Place sliced steak onto warm tortillas. Add desired toppings such as jalapenos, salsa, cilantro, onion, avocado, and cheese. Serve immediately with lime wedges.

# Extra Cooking Tips:

01 - For a smoky twist, add chipotle in adobo or a touch of honey to the marinade. Resting steak is essential for juicy, tender slices.
02 - Add crunchy textures with thinly sliced radishes or shredded cabbage as additional toppings.
