Brown sausage in a skillet over medium-high heat for 10 minutes until fully cooked and crumbly. Drain and set aside.

Spray wax paper with cooking spray and unroll crescent dough onto it. Pinch seams to form a solid sheet.

Spread half the cream cheese onto the dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border. Top with half the sausage and half the cheddar.

Roll the dough tightly lengthwise into a log, using the parchment paper to assist. Wrap in plastic wrap.

Repeat with remaining ingredients. Chill both logs in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour until firm.

Preheat oven to 375°F. Unwrap and slice each log into 1/2-inch pinwheels. Arrange on a baking sheet in a single layer.

Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oven and cool slightly.
