Savory sausage pinwheels made with crescent rolls, cheddar, and cream cheese. Easy, cheesy, and party-ready.

# What You’ll Need to Cook:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 pound pork sausage
02 - 2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls
03 - 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
04 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

# Steps to Prepare:

01 - Brown sausage in a skillet over medium-high heat for 10 minutes until fully cooked and crumbly. Drain and set aside.
02 - Spray wax paper with cooking spray and unroll crescent dough onto it. Pinch seams to form a solid sheet.
03 - Spread half the cream cheese onto the dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border. Top with half the sausage and half the cheddar.
04 - Roll the dough tightly lengthwise into a log, using the parchment paper to assist. Wrap in plastic wrap.
05 - Repeat with remaining ingredients. Chill both logs in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour until firm.
06 - Preheat oven to 375°F. Unwrap and slice each log into 1/2-inch pinwheels. Arrange on a baking sheet in a single layer.
07 - Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oven and cool slightly.
08 - Transfer to a serving platter and serve while warm.

# Extra Cooking Tips:

01 - Keep the crescent dough chilled until ready to use to make handling and rolling easier.
02 - Use an offset spatula to spread cream cheese without tearing the dough.
03 - Leave space between pinwheels on the baking sheet to allow even baking and prevent sticking.
04 - Logs can be made a day ahead and refrigerated before slicing and baking.
05 - Add chopped jalapenos or onions for extra flavor variation.
