Pepperoni Pizza Layer Cake (Printer-Friendly)

# What You’ll Need to Cook:

→ Pizza Layers

01 - 2 pre-made pizza crusts
02 - 240 ml pizza sauce
03 - 200 g shredded mozzarella cheese
04 - 100 g pepperoni slices
05 - 120 g cooked ground beef, seasoned with salt and pepper
06 - 100 g shredded cheddar cheese

→ Topping

07 - Extra mozzarella cheese, for topping
08 - Fresh basil or parsley, chopped, for garnish

# Steps to Prepare:

01 - Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook ground beef until browned, then drain excess fat and season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
02 - Preheat oven to 200°C, or according to pizza crust package instructions.
03 - Place one pizza crust in a large glass baking dish. Spread half of the pizza sauce evenly over the crust, then top with half of the mozzarella, half of the cooked ground beef, and a layer of pepperoni slices.
04 - Place the second pizza crust on top. Spread the remaining sauce and mozzarella cheese. Layer the rest of the ground beef and pepperoni, then sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
05 - Bake in the oven for 15–20 minutes, until the cheese is bubbling and the crust becomes golden brown.
06 - Remove from oven and sprinkle extra mozzarella cheese on top. Return to oven for about 5 minutes, until the cheese is melted and lightly browned.
07 - Allow to cool slightly before slicing. Garnish with chopped fresh basil or parsley and serve warm.
