# What You’ll Need to Cook:

→ Meatballs

01 - 250 g ground beef
02 - 250 g ground pork
03 - 60 g breadcrumbs
04 - 100 ml milk
05 - 1 egg
06 - 1 small onion, finely chopped
07 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
08 - 1 tbsp chopped parsley
09 - 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
10 - Salt and pepper, to taste

→ Mashed Potatoes

11 - 800 g Yukon Gold or Russet potatoes
12 - 50 g butter
13 - 100 ml cream
14 - Salt and pepper, to taste

→ Gravy

15 - 2 tbsp butter
16 - 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
17 - 300 ml beef or chicken broth
18 - 100 ml cream
19 - Salt and pepper, to taste

# Steps to Prepare:

01 - Combine ground beef, pork, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic, parsley, nutmeg, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix until combined without overworking.
02 - Form the mixture into 1.5-inch balls and place them on a plate.
03 - Heat 2 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium heat. Brown meatballs in batches for 6–8 minutes. Remove and set aside.
04 - Peel and chop the potatoes. Boil in salted water for 15–20 minutes until tender. Drain and mash with butter, cream, salt, and pepper until smooth.
05 - Melt butter in the same skillet. Stir in flour and cook for 1–2 minutes. Gradually whisk in broth and cream. Simmer for 5 minutes until thickened. Season to taste.
06 - Plate mashed potatoes, top with meatballs, and spoon over gravy. Garnish with parsley if desired.
