01 -
Arrange bacon slices in a single layer on a cold skillet. Cook over medium heat until crisp, turning as necessary. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towel to drain excess fat.
02 -
Divide ground beef into 8 equal portions. Form each into a thin square patty, slightly larger than the buns, about 1 cm thick.
03 -
Season patties lightly with salt and black pepper. Heat a cast-iron skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Sear patties for 2 minutes per side until browned with a slight crust and cooked through.
04 -
Once patties are almost cooked, lay a slice of American cheese on each patty and allow to melt for 30 seconds.
05 -
Split the buns and gently toast the cut sides on the skillet until lightly golden, about 1 minute.
06 -
Spread mayonnaise generously on the bottom half of each slider bun. Layer with shredded lettuce, a slice of tomato, cheese-topped beef patty, and a strip of crispy bacon. Cap with the top bun.
07 -
Arrange the sliders on a platter and serve warm.
