Classic Waldorf combines crisp apples, grapes, celery, nuts, and creamy poppy seed dressing for a refreshing side.

# What You’ll Need to Cook:

01 - 2 medium apples, washed and diced
02 - 150 g seedless red or green grapes, halved
03 - 150 g pineapple, diced and well drained
04 - 2 celery stalks, thinly sliced
05 - 40 g walnuts or pecans, roughly chopped and divided
06 - Bibb lettuce leaves, for serving (optional)

→ Dressing

07 - 60 g mayonnaise
08 - 60 g plain Greek yogurt
09 - 1 tablespoon granulated sugar or honey
10 - 1 tablespoon lemon juice, freshly squeezed
11 - 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
12 - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
13 - 1 teaspoon lemon zest (optional, finely grated)

# Steps to Prepare:

01 - Dice the apples, halve the grapes, chop the pineapple into small pieces, and slice the celery. Combine all in a large mixing bowl.
02 - In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, sugar or honey, lemon juice, poppy seeds, parsley, and lemon zest until smooth.
03 - Pour the dressing over the fruit and celery mixture. Toss gently until all ingredients are evenly coated.
04 - Stir in half of the chopped walnuts or pecans. Transfer salad to a serving dish or leave in the mixing bowl.
05 - Sprinkle the remaining nuts and extra lemon zest, if using, over the top. Serve immediately atop Bibb lettuce leaves, or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
