Juicy chicken, creamy tzatziki, and fresh veggies come together in soft pita for a flavorful Greek-inspired dish.

# What You’ll Need to Cook:

→ Chicken Marinade

01 - 600 g boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
04 - 2 garlic cloves, finely minced
05 - 2 teaspoons Greek seasoning
06 - 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
07 - 1 teaspoon sea salt
08 - 0.5 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

→ To Serve

09 - 4 large round pita breads, warmed
10 - 200 g tzatziki sauce
11 - 2 ripe tomatoes, sliced
12 - 0.5 red onion, thinly sliced
13 - 80 g romaine lettuce, shredded

→ Optional Toppings

14 - 50 g crumbled feta cheese
15 - 50 g sliced cucumbers
16 - 40 g kalamata olives, pitted and sliced

# Steps to Prepare:

01 - In a large resealable bag or mixing bowl, combine olive oil, white wine vinegar, minced garlic, Greek seasoning, lemon juice, sea salt, and black pepper. Add chicken pieces and mix to coat evenly. Seal and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, ideally overnight.
02 - Preheat grill pan or outdoor grill to medium-high heat. Thread marinated chicken onto skewers. Grill for 12–15 minutes, turning occasionally, until chicken is cooked through and lightly charred. Remove from heat and rest 3 minutes.
03 - Remove chicken from skewers and slice if needed. Place warmed pita breads on a flat surface. Distribute chicken, tomatoes, red onion, and lettuce evenly on each pita. Top generously with tzatziki sauce and any desired optional toppings.
04 - Fold pitas around the fillings and serve immediately while warm for best texture.

# Extra Cooking Tips:

01 - Do not skip marinating the chicken, as this step develops maximum flavour and tenderness.
02 - Warm pitas before assembling to prevent tearing and improve pliability.
