Cherry Vanilla Iced Latte (Printer-Friendly Version)

A vibrant iced latte blending cherry syrup, vanilla almond milk, and rich coffee for a refreshing treat.

# Required Ingredients:

→ Cherry Simple Syrup

01 - 300 g cherries, pitted (fresh or frozen)
02 - 100 g sugar or monk fruit sweetener
03 - 120 ml water

→ Latte

04 - 120 ml cold brew coffee or 2 shots chilled espresso
05 - 120 ml vanilla almond milk (unsweetened)
06 - 30 ml vanilla almond creamer
07 - 30-45 ml cherry simple syrup (to taste)
08 - Ice cubes

# Step-by-Step Instructions:

01 - Combine pitted cherries, sugar or sweetener, and water in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Simmer gently for 8–10 minutes, mashing cherries occasionally and stirring to prevent sticking. Remove from heat once syrup thickens and sugar dissolves. Strain through a fine mesh sieve into a clean container, discarding solids. Cool completely before use; refrigerate up to 1 week.
02 - Fill a tall glass with ice cubes. Pour 2–3 tablespoons of cooled cherry syrup over the ice. Froth vanilla almond milk and creamer until creamy using a frother or whisk. Slowly pour frothed milk over the syrup and ice. Top with cold brew coffee or espresso. Stir gently to combine before serving immediately.

# Handy Cooking Tips:

01 - Use frozen cherries when fresh are unavailable. Ensure syrup and coffee are chilled to prevent ice melting and overdilution.
02 - Adjust cherry syrup quantity to control sweetness and flavor intensity.
03 - Frothing the almond milk and creamer enhances texture and balances the coffee’s boldness.
