Cheesy Ham Pineapple Sandwiches (Printer-Friendly)

Savory-sweet sandwiches with ham, pineapple and melted cheddar, wrapped in foil and cooked over campfire coals or in the oven.

01 - 4 potato buns
02 - 10 ounces deli sliced ham
03 - 4 pineapple rings
04 - 4 slices cheddar cheese
05 - 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

# Steps to Prepare:

01 - Tear 4 pieces of aluminum foil that are large enough to encircle each sandwich. Place on a flat work surface.
02 - On top of each foil piece, stack a bottom bun, 1/4 of the ham, a pineapple ring, and 1 slice of cheese. Place the top bun on. Wrap the sandwich completely with foil. Repeat with remaining sandwiches.
03 - Place the sandwiches on a hot stone near the fire, or over hot coals or a grill rack until hot, about 20 minutes depending on the temperature of your fire. Alternatively, bake in a 400-degree oven for 15 minutes.
04 - Let the sandwiches cool slightly, unwrap, and enjoy.
