Breakfast Sliders Bacon Egg (Printer-Friendly Version)

Handheld sliders layered with bacon, sausage, fluffy eggs, and cheese on sweet rolls, golden and easy to prep.

# Required Ingredients:

→ Meat and Protein

01 - 150 g thick-cut bacon, diced
02 - 200 g fresh breakfast sausage, bulk style
03 - 6 large eggs

→ Dairy

04 - 60 ml heavy cream or whole milk
05 - 4 slices American cheese or preferred melting cheese
06 - 45 g unsalted butter, divided

→ Bakery

07 - 12 Hawaiian-style slider rolls

→ Seasonings and Finishing

08 - 2 g salt
09 - 20 ml pure maple syrup
10 - 5 g everything bagel seasoning (optional)

# Step-by-Step Instructions:

01 - Add diced bacon to a large non-stick skillet and cook over medium heat until crispy. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate. Add breakfast sausage to the same skillet and cook, breaking up into small pieces, until well-browned and fully cooked. Transfer to the plate with bacon.
02 - In a medium mixing bowl, vigorously whisk eggs with heavy cream or milk until homogenous and slightly frothy. In a clean skillet, melt 15 g butter over medium-high heat. Pour in egg mixture and gently stir with a spatula for soft, rich curds until just set. Season with salt and immediately remove from heat.
03 - Slice Hawaiian rolls horizontally, keeping the connected tops intact. Arrange bottom halves on a lined baking tray. Evenly distribute scrambled eggs, then scatter cooked sausage and bacon over the eggs. Layer cheese slices over the meat.
04 - Place roll tops over the assembled sliders. Melt remaining butter and whisk together with maple syrup. Generously brush the sweet butter over the roll tops. Sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning if desired. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for 15 minutes, until cheese is melted and tops are golden-brown. Cover loosely with foil if browning too quickly.
05 - Remove from oven and allow to rest for 2 minutes before slicing. Serve warm. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days; reheat in the oven or wrapped in foil.

# Handy Cooking Tips:

01 - For creamier eggs, avoid overcooking and stir gently for soft curds.
02 - Sliders may be prepared in advance, refrigerated, and baked just before serving.
03 - Any melty cheese such as cheddar, provolone, or pepper jack can substitute American cheese for varied flavors.
04 - Lightly toasting bread prior to assembly prevents sogginess.
