Air Fryer Potato Wedges (Printer-Friendly)

Golden potato wedges with zesty seasoning, cooked in minutes for a perfect crisp and tender contrast.

# What You’ll Need to Cook:

→ Potatoes

01 - 750 g medium-sized russet or Yukon Gold potatoes, scrubbed, unpeeled

→ Oil

02 - 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

→ Seasonings

03 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
04 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
06 - 1 teaspoon paprika
07 - 0.75 teaspoon fine sea salt
08 - 0.5 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

→ Toppings

09 - 2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese
10 - 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley

# Steps to Prepare:

01 - Wash potatoes thoroughly. Cut each potato in half lengthwise, then slice each half into four even wedges for a total of eight wedges per potato.
02 - Place potato wedges in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat. Add onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss again to ensure even seasoning.
03 - Arrange seasoned potato wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket with skin sides facing down. Avoid overcrowding for optimal crispness.
04 - Cook at 200°C for 15–18 minutes, checking for golden, crisp edges and soft interiors. Extend cooking time if required, depending on air fryer model and wedge thickness.
05 - Remove from air fryer, transfer to serving dish, and immediately sprinkle with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley. Serve hot.

# Extra Cooking Tips:

01 - Coat wedges evenly by tossing in a bowl or using a pastry brush for oil application.
02 - Check for doneness after 15 minutes; continue cooking if needed for desired crispness.
03 - Single-layer placement reduces the need to shake or flip during air frying.
