# What You’ll Need to Cook:

→ Fish and Batter

01 - 225 g halibut fillets, cut into strips
02 - 65 g panko breadcrumbs
03 - 32 g all-purpose flour
04 - 0.5 g garlic powder
05 - 0.5 g smoked paprika
06 - 1.5 g salt
07 - 0.5 g ground black pepper
08 - 1 large egg
09 - 60 ml light beer
10 - olive oil spray, for greasing and coating

→ Tortillas and Toppings

11 - 10 small flour tortillas
12 - 1 ripe avocado, sliced
13 - fish taco sauce
14 - fresh cilantro leaves
15 - taco slaw or shredded cabbage
16 - lime wedges

# Steps to Prepare:

01 - In a shallow bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, flour, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
02 - In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg and light beer until thoroughly blended.
03 - Preheat the air fryer to 190°C and spray the basket with olive oil spray.
04 - Pat the halibut fillets dry with paper towels. Dip each piece into the beer-egg mixture, ensuring excess drips off, then dredge in the breadcrumb coating, pressing lightly so the mixture adheres.
05 - Arrange coated halibut in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray the tops lightly with olive oil spray. Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp, and the fish flakes easily.
06 - While the fish cooks, warm the tortillas over an open flame or in a hot cast iron pan until lightly charred.
07 - Spread fish taco sauce onto each tortilla. Top with taco slaw, crispy halibut, sliced avocado, and fresh cilantro.
08 - Drizzle additional sauce over the tacos and serve with lime wedges for squeezing.

# Extra Cooking Tips:

01 - For optimal crunch, press the fish gently but firmly into the breadcrumbs and spray thoroughly with oil before air frying.
02 - If your air fryer does not have a preheat function, let it run empty for five minutes to reach the desired temperature.
