Set oven to 200°C and allow it to fully preheat before cooking.

Line a baking tray with parchment paper or foil. Lay bacon slices in a single layer without overlapping. For crispier results, place a wire rack on the tray and arrange bacon on top.

Transfer the tray to the middle rack of the oven. Bake for 15–20 minutes, checking at the 12-minute mark. For extra crispy bacon, extend baking time by 2–4 minutes as needed. For chewier bacon, remove once lightly golden.

Remove bacon from the oven. Using tongs, place cooked bacon on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess fat. Alternatively, rest bacon briefly on a clean wire rack.
