Add rotini pasta directly into the pot. Stir to ensure the pasta is submerged in the liquid. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer. Cook for 12 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking, until pasta is al dente and liquid has mostly absorbed.

Return cooked chicken to the pot. Stir well to coat the chicken evenly with the sauce.
