Espresso Mocha Crunch Mocktail (Printer-Friendly Version)

Decadent chilled espresso, creamy layers, and Oreo crunch make for a fun, cafe-style non-alcoholic delight.

# Required Ingredients:

→ Espresso Base

01 - 120 ml freshly brewed espresso, chilled
02 - 30 ml chocolate syrup
03 - 120 ml soda water, chilled
04 - Ice cubes

→ Whipped Cream Topping

05 - 120 ml heavy cream
06 - 10 g confectioners’ sugar

→ Crunch & Garnish

07 - 5 Oreo cookies

# Step-by-Step Instructions:

01 - In a cocktail shaker, combine chilled espresso, chocolate syrup, and soda water. Add ice cubes and shake vigorously until the shaker exterior becomes frosty, about 20 seconds. Strain evenly into two coupe or martini glasses.
02 - In a medium bowl, whisk heavy cream and confectioners’ sugar until soft peaks just begin to form. Spoon the whipped cream gently over the espresso mixture, smoothing the surface with the back of a spoon.
03 - Crush three Oreo cookies by hand or in a sealed bag using a rolling pin or the bottom of a glass. Sprinkle the crushed Oreos over one half of the whipped cream layer in each glass. Slightly open the remaining two Oreos and attach one to the rim of each glass for garnish.

# Handy Cooking Tips:

01 - Chilling the espresso completely before mixing preserves the intensity and prevents dilution from melting ice.
02 - Decaf espresso or strong cold brew can be used as an alternative for a caffeine-free version.
