Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the tortellini until just al dente according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

In a mixing bowl, combine cooked tortellini, pizza sauce, half of the mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni slices. Stir in Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes if using until evenly coated.

Transfer the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and optional Italian cheese blend evenly over the top.

Bake uncovered for 20 to 25 minutes until cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly golden.
