Preheat oven to 175°C. Coat a 23x33 cm baking dish with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef and garlic until beef is browned and no longer pink. Drain excess fat. Stir in spaghetti sauce and remove from heat.

In a large pot of boiling water, cook spaghetti noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain well.

Return drained spaghetti to the pot. Add cream cheese, Italian seasoning, and dried basil. Stir until the cream cheese has fully melted and noodles are coated.

Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of the prepared dish. Distribute the cream cheese-coated spaghetti evenly over the sauce. Top with remaining meat sauce. Sprinkle Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses evenly over the surface.

Bake uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes or until the surface is hot and bubbly.

Allow the casserole to stand for 10 minutes after baking. Cut into portions and serve.
